We managed to help out a wedding guest at the 11th hour last week. She phoned on the day of the wedding wondering where she could get a wedding present from, ideally a picture of the Tythe Barn. Luckily we had a print in stock. She rushed over, having just bought a frame, and within the hour the picture was framed, wrapped and given to the happy couple….
This week we had deadlines of a different sort - nothing to do with completing wedding brochures, confirming bookings, collecting final numbers, sending out mailshots etc. Honor, who is currently holding first place for senior moments in the top office (see photo bottom left), has been on her annual mission tocollect Christmas Gift Boxes for ‘Aid Ukraine’ from Judy, Sandra, Kim & myself. If I didn’t have to replace the rather tempting packet of sweets, my box would be complete by now.
The ever-ebullient Mr “It’s
My Turn, It’s My Turn!” Romain Ferriere had his day this Saturday. As well as
wonderful weddings at Priston Mill this weekend I can vouch that there were
fantastic wedding celebrations in Galway when Event Manager, Romain, married
his fiancée Aileen.
It was a very happy
occasion with a moving service, a candlelit reception in an old Irish castle,
delicious food and wines, great company, live music, disco and much much more.
