It’s a bit like buses – for weeks there are no corporate functions at Priston Mill and then we have two within three days of each other. I attended one of them myself and was therefore able to experience first hand how well PM Hospitality Ltd organize corporate events here…and even better had the opportunity to sample amongst other things their delicious homemade shortbread biscuits and chocolate brownies…….
It’s been a busy successful week again inside the venues and out. Among the usual round of meetings, cleaning, gardening, preparations etc we have had the tree surgeon pollarding some willows and cutting back hedges. By doing so this week he's opened up the countryside views even more. Inside the venues we have had a routine visit by the environmental health inspectors. They came to see the kitchens and meet the chefs, in order to ascertain if the excellent 5-star rating should stand – which it does. We’ve had weddings too…….
The wonderful spell of fine weather meant that it wasn’t long after the welcome sight of the combine harvester working the ‘fields of gold’ that all the crop was soon gathered in. This coincided with a timely visit from our local tree surgeon who improved the views across from the venues to the ever changing rural backdrop.
