Here are two rather special cakes both decorated fashionably with bunting. One for a wedding and one for a lovely couple who have been visiting Priston Mill regularly for more than 50 years and have been celebrating their diamond wedding anniversary this weekend. Congratulations Jean & Michael!
The Watermill Tour and the Tythe Barn Tour are now complete and uploaded to our website! Each one starts by guiding you along the lavender lined path, through the gardens and into the venue. These tours give a really good insight to the layout and potential of Priston Mill for couples looking for a wedding venue. It will also hopefully help couples, who have already booked, refresh their memories and make it easier when planning their decorations etc
Unsurprisingly there seem to be many more children at the weddings at this time of year. No doubt for that reason and because of the warmer weather we have in the Summer months quite a few couples have hired in garden games. The giant jenga, connect 4 etc offer a fun diversion for the young and not so young during reception drinks and the early evening.
The stone walls of the venues and around the gardens are centuries old. They are still here today and in good condition due to on-going maintenance being carried out. This week Andrew Davis finished the excellent job he started last month of repairing some of stone walls near the marketing office. All looking good now - as is the countryside view beyond. What a perfect location for weddings!
