Meetings and corporate events are very much in the minority compared with the number of weddings held at Priston Mill. However, this week we have had two! As much as the chefs and events team love running weddings it always makes a refreshing change to do something a little different.
In the Watermill David Bragg, one of the founding members of the charity Send a Cow (which used to be based at Priston Mill for many years) had a surprise retirement lunch with family and colleagues. As well as canapés and a choice of two desserts they enjoyed a main course of Bath Gem Marinated Beef, Lyonnaise Potato, Roasted shallot & Buttered Spinach.
In the Tythe Barn the events team were running a conference for Arla Foods & Millwood Products (Millwood Products has been based at Priston Mill for 30+ years). As shown in the image above, they were treated to a wonderful Moroccan Lamb Tagine, followed by Sticky Toffee Pudding with Butterscotch Sauce and Vanilla Ice-cream.
We were delighted to get great feed back from both the conference and retirement lunch. :-)
